Another on shore day but it seemed windier than Tuesday so I ventured out on the 5.3, big mistake. I only had 1 1/2 hours so I stuck with the sail size but I had been duped by the wind accelerating up the shingle bank. Overall it wasn't a bad sail with some reasonable port tack jumps but it was a hell of a fight to stay up wind. Inevitably the wind dropped and I ended up with a 1/2 mile walk back to the carpark.

The weather made the day and a couple of the jumps were pretty big for the wave size (port being my worst tack) so it was a good day marred by lack of local knowledge as I was the only sailor out.
